Inc. Magazine's September "Inc. 500" Issue: Biggest Ever in Revenue, Largest Issue since 2001!

Issue Shows a 13% Gain in Revenue and Advertising Pages

NEW YORK, September 4, 2008 - Mansueto Ventures LLC, publisher of Inc. magazine, announced that the September "Inc. 500" issue has a total of 118 advertising pages -a 13% increase over 2007. The issue represents the largest ever in advertising revenue and biggest issue in seven years. The 250-page magazine will be on newsstands until September 30.

Inc. adds the success of the Inc. 500 issue to a growing list of achievements this year, despite a tough economic climate for magazine publishing and business titles in particular. Both ad pages and revenues increased in 2007 by +10% and Inc. was the only magazine in the segment to increase its rate base - going up +5% to 700,000 on January 1, 2008. According to the latest Fas-Fax report by the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), among the 297+ U.S. consumer magazines, Inc. ranks 14th in growth of single-copy newsstand sales. For the most recent six month period that ended June 30, Inc. magazine had total paid circulation of 724,110 and saw its total newsstand copies increase +25% over the same period in 2007 to an average of 21,775.
